Chef Sekita is a Teppan chef with over 40 years of experience. He began his career in 1969 in New York City at the original Benihana East Restaurant. From there, he became the head chef in Burlingame and Regional Manager in Concord, California. As a regional chef, he has supervised the operations of over 20 restaurants throughout the U.S. We are proud to have Chef Sekita as Kimono’s Executive Chef.
